The easiest would be to document the problem. I don't know about generic pkcs15 cards, but for estonian id card this is as easy as to specify the auth id for the puk code when changing the pin. Is this not enough? there is nothing special AFAIK in the code of chaning a PIN - no matter if this is actually a pin or a puk.

So the simple solution is to document how to change a PUK code and add a new command line option later on.

Also, pkcs11-tool also has --change-pin but no --unblock-pin or puk related options. Would this be necessary? We also should make sure that the new option behaves correctly with pinpads etc.

Any documentation to change a puk code ?

I have an etoken pro64k, a user pin is locked and the puk code too :-/
