It would be nice to have such a tool: 

 - eid-tool --list show all certificates
 - eid-tool --to-ssh output in openssh .ssh/authorized_keys format
             (with some usefull string from the cert as comment)
 - eid-tool --delete N        delete certificate N in .eid/authorized_certs

It would be nice to have such a tool to do this:

  • eid-tool --list show all certificates
  • eid-tool --to-ssh output in openssh .ssh/authorized_keys format (with some usefull string from the cert as comment)
  • eid-tool --delete N delete certificate N in .eid/authorized_certificates

that would help managing .eid/authorized_certificates.

I'd suggest to use some kind of high-level language to handle such information and functionality.

opensc does no longer include a pam module - case closed.
