We would like to announce a new 0.5.3 release of PAM-pkcs#11

This Linux-PAM login module allows a X.509 certificate based
user login. The certificate and its dedicated private key are
thereby accessed by means of an appropriate PKCS #11 module.
For the verification of the users' certificates, locally stored
CA certificates as well as either online or locally accessible
CRLs are used.

New in 0.5.3
* All defined Cert-to-Login mappers written and (afaik) working fine
* Created Man pages, User Manual and Mapper API documentation
* Commented source code to be doxygen friendly
* Mappers can now be static or dinamically linked
* Mapper API becomes stable
* card_eventmgr rewritten with many improvements
* Conditional compilation of LDAP and CURL support
* New .spec reference file to aid distribution packaging
* LDAP mapper added. Thanks to Dominik Fisher
* OpenSC and OpenSSH mappers added. Thanks to Andreas Jellinghaus for
pam_p11 library
* Many improvements and bugfixes
